REBID - Fox Valley Inn and Motel 6 Asbestos Abatement

There will be a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting for this project on Wednesday, July 10 at 10 am at the City of Aurora Engineering Department located on the 2nd floor of 77 S. Broadway, Aurora, IL 60507. There will be a site walkthrough immediately following. The City has purchased and plans to demolish two hotel buildings on N Farnsworth Avenue. In preparation for the demolition, the City completed assessments of each of the properties for asbestos and lead containing materials. No lead paint was encountered at either location. The City is requesting bids to provide complete removal and disposal of all asbestos containing materials at both properties as detailed in the plans and specifications and described in Assessment Reports which are included with the bid documents. Note that this Request for Bids is a re-issuance of the previously published RFB 19-27, for which all bids received in response were rejected.
