RFQ Fairmount Survey Phase One

The intent of this RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified consultants to conduct an architectural survey of the Fairmount neighborhood and commercial district for the city of Independence, a Certified Local Government community, Community Development Department, Historic Preservation Division. The Fairmount area has not previously conducted a comprehensive survey. The City of Independence will hire a 36 CFR 61 qualified historian or architectural historian, herein referred to as "consultant", to conduct an intensive-level architectural survey of the Fairmount Neighborhood and Commercial District survey area. The approximately 120-acre survey area encompasses a portion of the Fairmount neighborhood and the Fairmount Commercial district. This area includes approximately 577 properties.
