Data Cabling McLoud Middle School

Bid request for Data Cabling at New McLoud Middle School. Scope of work: install, terminate, label and test Cat 5e plenum wiring for the new McLoud Middle School building. A summary of the items requested are listed below. A total of 748 individual home runs are needed for this project. There are two separate network closets for this building located at opposite ends. Each home run will connect from the patch panel at the nearest closet to the network locations listed on the floor plans. A total of 34 twenty four port patch panels distributed between the two separate closets listed on the floor plans. A total of two floor mounted 45U four post network racks installed (one per network closet) as listed on the floor plans. Both racks will also need grounding to the busbar. A total of 750 3 foot Cat5e patch cords. A total of 750 7 foot Cat5e patch cords. Various cable management hooks, racks, brackets, and trays for wire management as needed. Fire sleeves will also be needed as well. All drops will be properly labeled at the faceplate and patch panel accordingly and tested to verify proper termination. Proof of wire-map testing at each drop is requested to verify proper termination. Preferred manufactures: Leviton, Tripp-Lite, Blackbox, Panduit, or Monoprice
