WORK DESCRIPTION A. Demolition 1. Abandon existing water main and service line in place. B. Site Work 1. Replace existing water mains with new 4" and 6" DIP, PVC, or HDPE water mains. 2. Complete water main installation using a combination of horizontal directional drilling trenchless technology and open cut trenching techniques. 3. Re-establish all existing residential service connections up to the curb stop. 4. Surface restoration. 5. Erosion and sediment control measures.
