RFQ Architectural Services Jail Catwalk

MANDATORY pre-bid conference. The Saline County Sheriff's Office is requesting proposals for architectural services for an elevated steel catwalk inside the jail recreation yard. This catwalk will be utilized as a safety platform so repairs and maintenance may be performed on the garage doors (6). The garage doors are used to bring in fresh air to the recreation yard. The garage door system has been in service since the opening of the new addition of the jail back in April 1995. The garage doors require constant maintenance and repairs due to the opening and closing and that high winds and strong storms wreak havoc on the doors. Currently, there is no safety platform in place to repair and maintain the garage doors. Proposals shall include architectural design, engineering, certified drawings, bid specifications, bid documents, bid process, and overall project management. Proposals shall be a flat turn-key fee for architectural services and project management services.
