RFQ Historic Preservation Consultant/Professional Services

The City of St. Joseph, Missouri, is seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants/professionals to perform an Intensive Level Architectural Survey. Scope of Services: The required professional services include: 1. The consultant/professional must demonstrate they are qualified under the U.S. Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Archaeology and Historic Preservation (36CFR61); 2. The consultant/professional must demonstrate scholarly and working knowledge of historic preservation principles and practices; and, 3. The consultant/professional must demonstrate scholarly and working knowledge of historic research sources and methodology; and, 4. The consultant/professional must demonstrate the ability to successfully undertake an intensive level architectural survey; 5. The consultant/professional must demonstrate the ability to successfully complete the intensive level architectural survey; and 6. The consultant/professional shall carry out the intensive level architectural survey project effectively and complete the research in a timely manner; and, 7. The consultant/professional will be required to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; and 8. The consultant/professional shall complete the contracted intensive level architectural survey; and 9. The completed document must be accepted and approved by the Missouri SHPO prior to payment for fulfilling the terms set forth in the MOA Stipulations.
